Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 2026

This policy explains how dodgeballtimer.com (the "Dodgeball Match Clock", "the site") handles information when you use it. The site is a free scoreboard and timer for dodgeball matches.

Information we collect

The site has no accounts, sign-up, or forms, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal details.

To keep your match going if you refresh the page, the clock saves its settings on your own device using your browser's local storage. This includes team names, scores, timer values, card entries, and your sound on/off choice. This data stays in your browser. It is not sent to our servers, and we cannot see it. You can remove it at any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, for example which pages are visited and which buttons on the clock are pressed. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect information such as pages viewed, interactions, approximate location, and device and browser type. This information is aggregated and is used only to improve the site.

We never send team names, player names, or other text you type into the clock to Google Analytics. You can opt out by installing the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, or by blocking cookies in your browser.

Cookies and advertising

We may show ads through Google AdSense. Google and its advertising partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve ads, including ads based on your previous visits to this or other websites, and to measure how ads perform.

Google's use of advertising cookies lets it and its partners serve ads to you based on your visit to this site and/or other sites on the internet.
You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings.
You can also opt out of some third-party vendors' use of cookies for personalized advertising at aboutads.info.
To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services.

Where required by law, such as for visitors in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, we will ask for your consent before ad cookies are used.

Hosting and server logs

The site is delivered through a web hosting provider, which may automatically log technical information such as IP address, browser type, and the pages requested, for security and performance purposes. We do not use this information to identify individual visitors.

Third-party links

The site may link to other websites, such as the organizations that govern dodgeball. We are not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those sites.

Children's privacy

The site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date above shows when it was last changed.
